Pringles Challenge
Poquoson Elementary 5th grade students in Ms. Mick’s class took on the Pringles Challenge. The Pringles Challenge is a STEM activity that requires problem solving, imagination, creativity, and collaboration. The students were given one can of pringles per group. They had to first figure out how many pringles were in the can and then sketch out a plan to build a ring of pringles (similar to a ferris wheel). Students then create a ring using only whole Pringles chips, no tape or glue allowed. The challenge requires a lot of patience as well as careful and precise chip placement.
